Education Minister Applauds Successful Completion of WASSCE Exam..

The Minister for Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), David Moinina Sengeh, expressed his congratulations today to all parties involved in the May-June West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Exam (WASSCE). The minister commended the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the security sector, teachers, parents, students, and other individuals who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth implementation of the examination across the country. With great pride, Minister Sengeh revealed that an impressive number of over 250,000 students actively participated in this year’s WASSCE examination in Sierra Leone. This important milestone marks the successful completion of the transition exams for these dedicated students. Minister Sengeh took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to all students, teachers, parents, WAEC, and his own staff. Over 250,000 students have successfully taken their transition exams safely and peacefully. Congratulations to all students, teachers, parents, WAEC and my staff,” he stated.As the penultimate day of the 2023 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) concluded, Sierra Leone celebrates the safe and peaceful completion of this vital educational endeavor.
