On Saturday, the 17th of May 2025, the Classroom to Commerce project engaged 300 graduates from Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions (TVET) in job readiness training in Bo, equipping them with the tools needed to navigate the workforce with confidence and competence. The training focused on several key areas, including CV writing, interview preparation, and professional networking, which equipped participants with essential job-seeking sk
ills. Additionally, modules on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving prepared graduates to thrive in diverse work environments. Practical lessons on business planning and financial management aimed at inspiring self-employment and innovation were also included.
The project is implemented by a consortium in three districts, with MADAM as the lead partner in Bo, RODA in Bombali, and Humanist Watch in Kenema.
